What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are sent from the page’s server to your browser and stored by it. The information is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables the server to identify the browser.
There are two types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are erased from the computer when you close the browser, while persistent cookies remain stored until they are erased or their expiration date has passed.
